Jim Proudfoot has been at talksport since 1999, and has commentated on more matches for the station than anyone else, including the last three major finals. He was born in the West country in 1972 but was brought up in the Midlands, before starting work as a bad DJ in Devon while still a teenager. His first proper job was reading the news on TFM in the North-East in 1994, and he also worked for Capital Radio, BRMB and Century Radio before making the move into the national media.
